The VDC is proud to partner with The University of Utah on "Post-Thrombotic Syndrome, The Forgotten Aftermath of DVT," a quality improvement initiative for patients and professionals in the treatment of post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS). The free program began with a live webcast on March 17th featuring Dr. Susan Kahn. The program is designed to increase awareness of the potential complication of PTS in patients following a DVT and provide a curriculum to educate both patients and professionals on prevention, screening and treatment.
